Westech is active in the local electronics industry and its relationship with the community.  We have 3 ex-Presidents of the Electronics Reps Association and national board members.  We partner with companies that give back to the community.   

Electronic Industry Charity Event

Westech Associates has played a central role in managing and promoting EICE, which draws attendance from the local electronics industry. Distributors, representatives, and manufacturers participate to give back to the community - 100% of all profits generated by the event go to Stanford Children’s Hospital and Oakland’s Children’s Hospital.  EICE just celebrated its 50th anniversary.

Santa (aka Alex Cox) and Chaz the Elf (aka Alan Smith) were both born and raised Oakland. It was started the Santa/Chaz Holiday Ride Give Away five years ago on a whim. Experiencing the children’s joy and their parents’ appreciation has been amazing. Equally amazing has been the generosity and altruism of our friends, family and even strangers. Through their giving, this event has grown and we have made lifetime memories for hundreds of deserving children
